Today (and today only) NPR is streaming the new tribute album, Rave On Buddy Holly, in its entirety and I highly encourage any Holly or just generally awesome music fan to check it out. Such artists as The Black Keys, Modest Mouse, She & Him, Lou Reed and more have contributed to the album and although I haven’t finished the entire album quite yet, I can tell you that it’s definitely so easy to fall in love with it. The “Every Day” cover by Fiona Apple and Jon Brion is my personal favorite so far.

I also happened to catch Fresh Air’s review segment on this album earlier today and if you have seven minutes to spare definitely be sure to give it a listen; it’s quite a wonderful review. Happy listening!
