Woowee, am I glad it’s Friday! Between work, moving, and crazy neighbors I have hit my motivation and energy limit this afternoon and wish I could just go to sleep. But, I need to soldier on and wake up because in just a few short hours I’ll be in Austin with Craig! This weekend I’ll be taking Craig to his first ever movie at the Alamo Drafthouse and I think I’m more excited about his first Alamo experience than about the movie! It’s going to be a fun time, and I can’t wait to be down there.

1. DIY House Shaped Clay Pots: One of the cutest DIY projects I’ve seen in awhile, these House-Shaped Clay Pots would make a cute gift or accessory in your home. And they’re easy to make too?! I have a feeling this will be a new weekend project of mine very soon.

2. Matt Wisniewski: Artist Matt Wisniewski’s photo collages took my breath away. I love how the Earth elements incorporate into each person’s silhouette so beautifully. Well done, Matt!

3. Cake Batter Crispy Treats: Uh, yes please! That sounds right up my alley.

4. Hotel San Jose: It’s been a dream of mine to spend one (just one, at least! please!) weekend at the Hotel San Jose on South Congress in Austin. But until that happens, I’m just going to pretend I’m there and having a wonderful time while looking at sf girl by bay‘s nathan michael’s beautiful pictures of the unique Austin hotel.
